Ibrance (Palbociclib) is a targeted therapy medication used to treat HR-positive, HER2-negative advanced or metastatic breast cancer in combination with an aromatase inhibitor or fulvestrant. It is a CDK4/6 inhibitor that works by blocking the activity of certain proteins (CDK4 and CDK6) that help cancer cells grow and divide. Ibrance is administered orally in the form of tablets and is typically taken once daily for 21 days, followed by a 7-day break.
